Monahans, TX Schedule:
Rotational (On-Call) - 14/7 Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Fluids Plant Operator (FPO) to support daily operations at our Monahans facility. This role is responsible for mixing drilling fluids, maintaining plant equipment, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and functionality of the plant. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a physically demanding, outdoor environment. Key Responsibilities Mix drilling fluids in accordance with job specifications and instructions Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently Clean and maintain mixing platforms, plant floors, and work areas Clean hopper lines, mud guns, pits (interior and exterior), shakers, tanks, and other plant equipment Perform basic maintenance including repairing and replacing valves, fittings, and related components Lubricate plant equipment on a routine schedule Restock materials from the warehouse as needed to support operations Maintain plant grounds, including trash removal, yard leveling, pothole repair, mowing, and weed control Follow all safety protocols and company procedures Qualifications Prior experience in oilfield, plant operations, or industrial environments preferred Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods) Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team Valid driver's license preferred Work Schedule Rotational schedule: 14 days on / 7 days off Must be available on-call and able to respond as needed Additional Information Safety-sensitive position Opportunity for overtime depending on workload Hands-on role with growth potential in plant operations At a Glance Division Workforce Location Monahans, TX Job Type Full Time Industry Oil & Gas Posted March 31, 2026 Job ID # 201265Similar jobs in Monahans, TX
