Must Have:
Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in a GMP facility — this is the baseline non-negotiable.
- Candidates from pharma, biotech, or life sciences backgrounds are all valid.
- Direct, hands-on experience operating and maintaining the following utility systems:
- Steam boilers (hot water & plant steam)
- Chillers and chilled water systems
- Air handling, HVAC , air conditioning & refrigeration
- Air compressors, dryers, and compressed air systems
- USP Purified Water systems and clean steam generators (pharma/biotech-specific — critical)
- Nitrogen systems, natural gas systems
- Domestic water, sewer, and waste neutralization systems
Technical Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting ability across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Hands-on HVAC experience, including humidification/dehumidification, and ability to replace compressors, motors, and valves.
- Ability to read and work from manuals, P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and SOPs.
- Experience developing and managing PM (Preventive Maintenance) programs and schedules.
- Familiarity with BMS (Building Management Systems) and electronic maintenance platforms.
- Ability to assist in equipment commissioning, installation, and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).
Pay:
$40.00- $43.
