Job Description

Wellfield Operator Step into a hands-on role supporting a low‑pH in-situ recovery (ISR) uranium operation in northeastern Wyoming—an advanced and increasingly vital method in today's energy landscape. Our client is hiring a Wellfield Operator on a temp-to-hire basis , giving you the opportunity to gain experience and transition into a long-term role with a growing uranium production team. In this position, you'll be actively involved in both Central Processing Plant (CPP) and wellfield operations, working with water-treatment-style systems, monitoring production, and supporting key recovery processes such as IX resin transfers, elution, and precipitation. You'll play an important role in maintaining wellfield performance by operating and maintaining pumps, injection wells, and header houses—while helping ensure safe, environmentally responsible operations. What You'll Do Operate and monitor ISR wellfields and CPP systems in alignment with safety and operating procedures Collect and analyze process samples for operational and environmental compliance Use computerized systems to monitor performance, respond to alarms, and document key data Perform routine inspections and maintain accurate operational records Troubleshoot issues and assist with minor repairs on pumps, piping, and equipment Adjust flow rates, chemical systems, and oxygen and acid inputs to meet production goals Conduct preventive maintenance on meters, pumps, motors, and instrumentation Inspect wellfield conditions and balance well patterns to optimize recovery What You Bring Valid driver's license with insurable driving record Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within a team Basic math and reading skills for following procedures and recording data Experience in well service, water systems, or industrial field operations Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical and process equipment Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physically active work Willingness to work in a regulated ISR environment with low-level radiation exposure Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions and varying terrain Benefits (Available Upon Full-Time Conversion) This is a temp-to-hire opportunity , with the following benefits available once hired on permanently : Comprehensive benefits package featuring 100% employer-paid health insurance (low-deductible PPO) and 70% dependent coverage Dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan Short-term disability, fuel allowance , and boot reimbursement 80 hours of paid holidays annually 3-5 weeks of PTO based on experience and tenure Paid sick leave accrued on a biweekly schedule Interested? Pay Details:
