Job Summary We are looking for a Senior Print Operator to join our Printing Department. In this role, you will serve as a key technical resource within the production team, overseeing complex print jobs from setup through completion while ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and accuracy. You will operate and troubleshoot high-speed laser and inkjet printing equipment, perform advanced quality control checks, and help optimize production workflows to meet customer requirements and deadlines. As a Senior Print Operator, you will collaborate closely with Client Services, Sales, IT, and Production leadership to ensure projects are executed successfully. You will also provide guidance and support to team members, assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, and help drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the print operation. Schedule:
Monday-Friday 12:00pm - 8:30pm What you will do: Lead and coordinate print production jobs from setup through completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery Serve as a technical resource for Print Operators and production staff, providing guidance, troubleshooting support, and training as needed Communicate with Client Services, Sales, IT, and Production leadership to ensure projects meet specifications, quality standards, and deadlines Set up, program, operate, and optimize high-speed laser and inkjet printers, producing single or multiple variable-data documents Monitor print quality throughout production runs, perform advanced quality checks, identify root causes of defects, and coordinate corrective actions Review job specifications, data files, and workflows to ensure accuracy prior to production Stage, acclimate, and change paper rolls safely and efficiently while maintaining optimal equipment performance Perform preventive maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshooting on printing presses, including cleaning rollers, print heads, filters, sensors, and related components Diagnose and resolve print quality, equipment, workflow, and production issues to minimize downtime Operate and troubleshoot inline finishing equipment, including folders, bundlers, stackers, and other production equipment Assist with production scheduling, workflow prioritization, and resource utilization to maximize efficiency and meet service-level commitments Maintain strong, professional relationships with vendors and equipment service providers Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and operational procedures Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment Perform other related duties as assigned What we are looking for: We're looking for experienced production professionals who take ownership of their work, demonstrate strong technical expertise, and are committed to delivering high-quality results. High school diploma or equivalent required 2-3+ years of digital print production, print operations, or related manufacturing experience preferred Demonstrated experience operating high-speed laser and inkjet printing equipment in a production environment Ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and perform effectively in a fast-paced production setting Strong attention to detail, including inspecting files for font issues, image resolution, data integrity, print defects, and production accuracy Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed written and verbal instructions, technical manuals, and production specifications Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and take initiative Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, print management software, DFEs, and production workflow systems Experience with continuous roll-fed printing equipment strongly preferred Experience with digital front ends (DFEs) such as Fiery, Prisma, TotalFlow, or similar platforms preferred Knowledge of USPS postal regulations, mail production workflows, and variable-data printing processes preferred Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude Experience training or mentoring team members preferred Ability to pass drug screening, E-Verify, and background check Benefits & Work Environment Medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance Paid Time Off (PTO), sick time, and paid holidays Quarterly bonus opportunities 401k with employer match Monday through Friday schedule Casual business attire—jeans are welcome Supportive, people-focused culture with growth opportunities Pay:
