Reimbursed during active production days only Job Description We are seeking an experienced Camera Operator to join our production team for upcoming shoots based primarily in Gilroy, CA. This role will support dynamic, unscripted-style filming that blends storytelling with engineering and experimentation. You'll work closely with producers, directors, and a small but efficient crew to capture high-energy content ranging from build processes to large-scale outdoor tests. Responsibilities
Operate camera for a variety of setups including handheld, tripod, and specialty rigs
Capture both planned beats and spontaneous moments with a documentary-style approach
Collaborate with producers and directors to execute creative vision
Assist with basic camera setup, lens changes, media management, and gear maintenance
Adapt quickly to changing environments, especially outdoor and field-based shoots
Maintain awareness of safety protocols during builds, testing, and breakdown Qualifications
2+ years of experience operating camera on digital, commercial, or unscripted productions
Strong understanding of composition, exposure, and camera movement
Comfortable working in fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable environments
Experience filming outdoor content and/or physical builds is a plus
Ability to work as a local in the Gilroy / South Bay area
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Production Notes

Crew should be comfortable working around engineering teams and large-scale experiments
