You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the printing process, ensuring that every run meets our rigorous standards for color accuracy and registration while maximizing operational efficiency. Responsibilities Execute precise press setups and changeovers, including the installation of plates, anilox rolls, and ink systems to meet production schedules. Manage ink viscosity and color matching to ensure consistent, high-quality results across all customer applications. Monitor web tension, registration, and drying processes in real-time to minimize waste and optimize throughput. Process a variety of flexible substrates, including films, pressure-sensitive adhesives, and papers, with high attention to detail. Perform comprehensive quality inspections throughout the production run to identify and resolve defects early. Troubleshoot mechanical or process-related issues to maintain continuous, reliable machine performance. Maintain detailed production records and ensure all documentation complies with quality management standards. Uphold a clean, organized, and safe workspace, actively participating in continuous improvement and equipment maintenance initiatives. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience operating flexographic or narrow-web converting machinery. Proven ability to independently manage press setups, color adjustments, and complex production runs. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve common printing defects. Proficiency in reading and interpreting work orders, technical drawings, and product specifications. Solid understanding of web handling, tension control, and material properties. Preferred Skills Experience working in an ISO-certified or highly regulated manufacturing environment. Technical expertise in anilox selection, plate mounting, and advanced color management. Background in roll-to-roll production and handling specialty flexible materials. Experience mentoring or training junior press operators to improve team performance.
