Production Artist - Print Output

Well-established and fast-paced commercial print/apparel decoration business is seeking an individual who is skilled in graphics production using Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc. Your skill level in all of these apps must be at least a 6+ on a scale of 1-10 for this position. It will increase from there. If a job where you learn new things every day interests you, this is one of those jobs. Candidate MUST have knowledge of file preparation for print or apparel decoration.

You will be responsible for:

Assessing the quality and print readiness of all files Editing or creating files for output as raster and vector graphics for all devices Printing output to multiple devices including laser presses, inkjets, vinyl cutters and embroidery machines Communicating with clients and vendors to complete work and ensure quality levels Assisting the Sales Director on a daily basis to establish new account needs and maintain brand guidelines This is a position that is equally balanced between graphics, digital printing, finishing, customer service and assisting the Sales Director. It is fast paced and is different every day. Must be committed to high levels of customer service and exhibit a consistent ability to anticipate and eliminate issues before they become mistakes.
