Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 3D Printer Technician to join our innovative manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced 3D printing equipment to produce high-quality prototypes and parts. Your expertise will ensure efficient production workflows, adherence to safety protocols, and continuous improvement of printing processes. Responsibilities Set up and calibrate 3D printers using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software and technical specifications Monitor printing processes in real-time, adjusting parameters to optimize quality and efficiency Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of 3D printing equipment to prevent downtime Inspect printed parts for accuracy, surface finish, and dimensional tolerances using tools such as micrometers and calipers Document print jobs, maintenance activities, and process improvements accurately in medical or technical records Collaborate with design teams to review models, resolve printing issues, and suggest process enhancements Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards during all operations Requirements Proven experience with 3D printing technologies, including FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling), SLA (Stereolithography), or similar methods Strong knowledge of CAD software for model preparation and troubleshooting Familiarity with medical imaging or dental fabrication processes is a plus Ability to interpret technical drawings, medical terminology, and laboratory procedures Experience with medical documentation, medical records management, or laboratory settings preferred Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques in a clinical or laboratory environment Excellent attention to detail with the ability to assess print quality using precise measurement tools such as micrometers Strong communication skills for documenting processes and collaborating across teams Join us as a 3D Printer Technician and be part of a cutting-edge team dedicated to transforming ideas into tangible solutions.
