This role is ideal for someone passionate about motorsports and sim racing who has hands-on experience with iRacing and enjoys helping customers have a great experience. The Sim Operator will assist guests, manage simulator sessions, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and ensure all racing stations are running smoothly during events, leagues, and walk-in sessions. Responsibilities Set up and operate racing simulators for customers and events Launch and manage races within iRacing Assist customers with driving setup, controls, and race procedures Monitor simulator performance and resolve basic hardware/software issues Calibrate wheels, pedals, VR/headsets, and displays as needed Help organize leagues, tournaments, and private events Maintain a clean, organized, and professional racing environment Provide excellent customer service to guests of all experience levels Communicate race schedules, rules, and venue policies clearly Escalate advanced technical issues when necessary Requirements Strong working knowledge of iRacing Familiarity with sim racing hardware. Basic PC troubleshooting skills Passion for motorsports and racing games Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Weekend and evening availability preferred Must be dependable and punctual Preferred Qualifications Experience working in entertainment, esports, gaming, or hospitality Knowledge of other sim platforms such as: Assetto Corsa Experience running leagues or organized online races Basic networking or AV knowledge Compensation & Perks Competitive hourly pay Flexible scheduling Free simulator practice time Opportunity to work in a growing sim racing entertainment environment Access to leagues, events, and community racing
