Experience :
5+ years in flexographic printing required.
Education :
High School Diploma or GED required.
Special Requirements :
Must pass a color blindness test and possess forklift certification.
Essential Functions :
Operational Duties :
Perform setups and run production as per specifications. Conduct quality checks and audits. Perform daily safety inspections of the press and work area. Troubleshoot, clean, and maintain the press and related equipment.
Training and Leadership :
Mentor and train Press Assistants and new operators. Assist other operators as needed.
Physical Demands :
Handle raw materials and finished rolls exceeding 1,000 lbs. Lift 50-75 lbs regularly. Climb ladders and perform physically demanding tasks.
Technical Responsibilities :
Perform webbing of stock materials. Wrap and change rolls, adjust inks, and change press gears. Enter production data into the ERP system.
Secondary Responsibilities :
Blend or adjust inks and dispose of waste ink/oil per standards. Support new product and design development. Occasionally meet with customers.
Skills and Qualifications :
Exceptional mechanical and communication skills. Strong math skills and ability to follow detailed instructions. Physically fit for demanding tasks. Proficient with computers.
Compliance Requirements :
Must comply with ITAR regulations (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for necessary authorizations).
