Camera Operator/Production Assistant

The Opportunity We are expanding our production crew for the season and are accepting applications for Camera Operator and Production Assistant roles. Placement is based on demonstrated experience and skill. Camera Operators execute directed camera assignments on location across a range of productions; Production Assistants support department heads on set, including grip and/or gaffer support duties. Both roles are hands-on, require professional conduct, and offer a direct path to advancement for those who perform. Key Responsibilities Production Assistants - Setting up and breaking down lighting equipment, running cable and managing cable paths, positioning C-stands, flags, and diffusion, carrying and organizing gear between locations, charging and swapping batteries, formatting media cards, managing the equipment cart, assisting the grip and gaffer with rigging, keeping the set clear and organized, fetching props or supplies as directed, maintaining a quiet set during takes, and supporting any department head as assigned. Camera Operators - Operating the primary camera in full manual mode, setting and adjusting exposure, shutter speed, ISO, and white balance, executing shot lists as directed by the lead producer or DP, capturing interview and event coverage, pulling focus during moving shots, operating handheld, gimbal, or shoulder rig configurations, mounting and leveling cameras on tripods and sliders, capturing B-roll to support the edit, monitoring footage for focus and exposure issues between takes, and communicating clearly with the director on framing and composition adjustments. Pay:
