Full Job Description TITLE:
Television Master Control Operator FLSA:
Part time - non-exempt
BASIC FUNCTION
: The TV Master Control Operator is responsible for monitoring the quality and accuracy of our on-air product, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and preparing programming for future playback. This position will work 1-2 days a week, mostly weekends, including overnights; 12am-8am, day shift; 8am - 4pm, and/or evening shift; 4pm - 12am.
RESPONSIBILITES
: Monitoring and troubleshooting automation playlists for up to seven television & two radio stations. Maintain relationships with clients. Switching live news and sports programming. Maintaining transmitter logs. Other duties as needed.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
: Strong computer knowledge. Extreme attention to detail. Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision. Reliable with good communication skills. Strong work history. Previous master control experience is a plus but not required. •Shifts could include overnight, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Should be flexible.
