Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented
PRINT SHOP SPECIALIST
to join our vibrant production team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality printing projects across various mediums, ensuring precision, color accuracy, and timely delivery. Your expertise will help bring creative visions to life while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign) for design and file preparation Fix supplied files and impose multi-up layouts for print production Operate digital production equipment including Digital Toner Presses, Digital Ink-Jet Presses, and Digital Cutters Perform light bindery and finishing work Provide customer service via in-person interactions, email, and phone Multitask effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Understanding with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign required) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to read and interpret policies and procedures (ISO-certified environment) Strong attention to detail and overall sense of quality Comfortable operating light and large-format production machinery Comfortable with basic math.

Prepare artwork files using prepress techniques, ensuring proper layout, color management, and file integrity before printing. Manage color consistency across different print runs by utilizing advanced color management tools and techniques. Collaborate with graphic designers to review layouts, typography, and overall design for print readiness using Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Conduct quality control inspections throughout the production process to identify and resolve issues related to print quality, alignment, or material defects. Operate forklifts and other manufacturing equipment safely when handling large materials or finished products. Implement efficient workflows in manufacturing environments while adhering to safety standards and production schedules. Skills Strong knowledge of screen printing techniques and equipment operation. Proficiency in prepress processes including file preparation, layout design, and troubleshooting. Expertise in color management to ensure accurate reproduction of colors across various substrates. Solid understanding of graphic design principles with experience in Adobe Creative Suite software. Familiarity with manufacturing processes related to flexo printing, CNC machining, and general machining operations. Ability to perform quality control checks meticulously to maintain high standards of print output. Knowledge of typography and layout design fundamentals for creating visually compelling print materials. Experience with print advertising production from concept through final execution.
