In this vital role, you will operate specialized sewer inspection cameras to assess the condition of pipelines, identify blockages, leaks, or damages, and ensure the integrity of sewer infrastructure. Your expertise will help support construction projects, quality control measures, and maintenance operations, contributing to safer and more efficient sewer systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors on construction sites, utilizing technical skills to deliver precise data and insights for ongoing infrastructure management. Duties Operate high-resolution CCTV sewer cameras to inspect underground pipelines and sewer lines with precision and safety. Capture detailed video footage and images for analysis, documentation, and reporting purposes. Conduct thorough quality inspections of pipeline conditions, identifying defects such as cracks, blockages, or corrosion. Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and construction site plans to locate pipelines accurately. Collect data systematically during inspections to support construction management and quality control processes. Perform analysis of footage to determine necessary repairs or maintenance actions based on inspection findings. Assist in construction site inspections by verifying that pipeline installation adheres to project specifications and contracts. Maintain detailed records of inspections, including reports on pipeline conditions and recommended actions for repairs or further investigation. Collaborate with construction teams, engineers, and project managers to ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle. Experience Prior experience working on construction sites with a focus on pipeline or underground infrastructure inspection is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of construction management principles, including quality control and quality inspection procedures. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings related to pipeline systems. Hands-on experience operating CCTV or similar inspection equipment in a construction or municipal setting. Demonstrated analysis skills for interpreting inspection footage and identifying potential issues accurately. Understanding of construction contracts and compliance requirements related to sewer infrastructure projects. Ability to collect accurate data during inspections and compile comprehensive reports for review by stakeholders.
