Job Description

You know how frustrating it is when sloppy files become your problem. You're the one who catches the missing bleed, the color issue, the bad export, before it turns into a costly mess. You want a role where precision matters, your judgment is trusted, and good work doesn't get buried under bureaucracy. If you love making files flawless and production-ready, keep reading. Who We Are At Powpack, we turn great ideas into delightful products that help customers get more done, faster. We're mission-driven, supportive, and serious about making technology feel human. For you, that means a Pre-Press Technician role inside a growth-oriented, fast-moving team that values quality, ownership, and smart systems over red tape. What You'll Be Doing Your day is about catching problems before they hit production. You'll review artwork, prepare print-ready files, manage color, optimize output, and make sure every detail is right before anything moves forward. You'll work closely with designers, production teammates, and customers to solve issues fast. When something's off, you won't wait for someone else to fix it. You'll troubleshoot it, communicate clearly, and keep the job moving. This role matters because accuracy protects quality, deadlines, and customer trust. If you like being the calm, organized person who keeps standards high in a fast-paced environment, you'll feel it here. The Hiring Process We have a rigorous process for hiring, but move FAST for the right person. You could be hired in as little as 10 days! We've had lots of interest, so the first few steps are automated to make sure you can get considered quickly. Don't worry—if you take the time to apply, we will respond to 100% of the applicants.
The process:
Click apply and answer a few Who, What, When questions. (5 min) You'll be texted a link for a 10 min questionnaire that will help match you to the job (or others that might suit you!). You'll get a text for a quick 1-way video question. (5 min) We'll send you a link to get scheduled for an in-person interview. You can easily be in for an interview within a couple days from right now. What You'll Earn This is a full-time 40-hour-per-week role paying $30-$35 per hour, based on your experience and fit for the work. If you're looking for a place where strong technical skill, ownership, and consistent results are valued as the company scales the right way, this is that kind of opportunity. Why Work With Us You'll be part of a professional but agile team that moves quickly without drowning in corporate process. Leadership works closely with employees here, and your ideas to improve systems, workflows, and quality will actually matter. This is a strong fit if you like accountability, collaboration, and being trusted to own your work. It's not a fit if you need constant hand-holding, avoid feedback, or get rattled when priorities move fast in a growing business. Full-time, steady 40-hour schedule Supportive, team-oriented environment High standards for quality, communication, and professionalism Room to contribute ideas and improve processes A long-term, sustainable growth mindset Who We're Looking For You'll do well here if you're technical, organized, proactive, and a little obsessive about getting files right. You take pride in catching what others miss, and you know great production starts long before the press does. You have strong prepress and print production knowledge You're skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and InDesign You understand color management and file optimization You can troubleshoot artwork issues without creating drama You communicate well with designers, production teams, and customers You manage deadlines without letting quality slip You want ownership, not micromanagement You should not apply if detail work drains you or fast-moving environments throw you off If you're ready to be the person who makes sure every file is right before it counts, apply now. Good teams move fast, and so do we.
