Prepress Technician

Duties Review and interpret digital artwork files, ensuring they meet specifications for printing and packaging. Prepare print-ready files by adjusting layouts, color profiles, and resolution settings using industry-standard prepress software. Conduct thorough proofing processes to verify color accuracy, registration, and overall quality before production. Collaborate with production staff and vendors to resolve file discrepancies or technical issues promptly. Maintain meticulous records of job specifications, file versions, and quality checks to ensure traceability. Requirements 1-3 years of experience in prepress, print production, or a related field Familiarity with industry software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and prepress tools. Basic understanding of print production processes (bleeds, color modes, file setup, etc.) Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment Strong communication and organizational skills Knowledge of packaging processes and materials is highly desirable. Willingness to learn and grow within the role
