Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are a busy Litho-laminated box manufacturer located in Paterson NJ. We are seeking an experienced Second Pressman for our KBA 164 and 162 7-color LED and conventional printing presses. This position is for 2nd or 3rd shift. Unionized shop.

Essential Job Functions:

Assist First Pressman with make ready and maintaining color consistency and registration for press runs. Meet or exceed daily production and quality levels. Review job specifications on order bags to ensure accurate production specifications. Ensure accurate production time recording on electronic data system. Inform management in a timely manner of mechanical and electrical problems. Run press in absence of first pressman. Ability to work overtime on short notice. Maintain a clean/safe work area and adhere to the company safety policy.

Job Qualifications:

3 years minimum experience in 4-color process and other multi-color (high quality) printing preferably on a large format KBA press. Proficient on closed loop Lithec Densitronic Scanner and Xtroninic color control system Mechanical and problem-solving skills Capable of running press in absence of First Pressman Basic computer skills, good communications skills, and ability to work as a team player with a positive attitude.
