Director of Photography/Camera Operator True Case Films New York, NY Job Details Freelance $1,000 a day 11 hours ago Qualifications Visual storytelling Documentary film projects Documentary projects Photography gear Lighting for video production Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Role True Case Films is seeking an experienced Cinematographer to join the production of Season 2 of Vanished , a documentary series currently streaming on multiple platforms. The selected candidate will be responsible for filming sit-down interviews and capturing high-quality B-roll footage that supports the visual storytelling of the series. The ideal candidate has a strong documentary or unscripted production background, is comfortable working independently and collaboratively, and has an eye for compelling composition, lighting, and camera movement. Experience conducting interview setups and capturing cinematic B-roll in a variety of environments is preferred. Duties Film professional, visually engaging interviews. Capture cinematic B-roll footage to support story elements. Collaborate with the director and production team to achieve the creative vision. Assist with camera, lighting, and audio setup as needed. Maintain professional production standards on set. Qualifications Proven experience as a Director of Photography or Camera Operator with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse filming styles and technical proficiency. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with creative teams and clients throughout all project phases. Ability to operate professional camera equipment such as DSLRs, cinema cameras (e.g., RED or ARRI), stabilizers, drones or gimbals with precision.
