ABOUT THE ROLE

Clearview Tinting is a locally-owned company that has been serving the Toledo area since 2002, and we are looking for a skilled Large Format Print Operator to join our in-house graphics production team. This is a hands-on production role where you will take custom vinyl graphics from file prep through final production. If you have experience in a print shop, sign shop, or wrap shop and take pride in doing precise, quality work, we want to hear from you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate the Mimaki UV inkjet large format printer to produce custom vinyl graphics and film prints Set up and run the Graphtec vinyl cutting plotter for precision cuts Laminate, weed, and apply transfer tape to finished graphics Produce print orders from start to finish: print, cut, and finish to spec Prepare and proof print-ready artwork files in Adobe Illustrator Manage RasterLink (RIP software) print queue, color profiles, and output settings Track and restock printer supplies including inks, media, and film Work with a variety of print media including cast vinyl, one-way perforated film, printable white vinyl, and specialty surface films Maintain quality control throughout production and correct defects before completion Communicate with the internal team on order specs and timelines

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Hands-on experience operating large format inkjet printers (Mimaki, Roland, Epson, or similar) Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for production file setup and prep Experience with vinyl cutting plotters (Graphtec, Roland, or similar) Familiarity with RIP software (RasterLink, Wasatch, Caldera, or similar) Working knowledge of vinyl application techniques: weeding, transfer tape, and surface prep Strong attention to detail and consistent quality standards in a production environment Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Direct experience with Mimaki printers and RasterLink RIP software Knowledge of wide-format print media types including cast vinyl, perforated window film, and specialty wall films Background in a sign shop, wrap shop, or print production environment Experience with window film or architectural film graphics
