Job Description

Looking for a DP with their own camera package (4K min) for a 2-day shoot in downtown Philadelphia. Day 1 will be a shorter, more controlled panel shoot, while day 2 will be a longer, more active outdoor day. Each day will require a 2-camera setup, each with a distinct style:
  • Friday, April 10: Moderated panel (hotel ballroom; mostly locked-off coverage, with some pull-aside interviews)
  • Sunday, April 12: Handheld, documentary-style outdoor shoot following a group of participants at a local landmark
  • capturing the day, pull-aside interviews, and organic interactions (No shoot on Saturday). We are looking for a DP comfortable working quickly with a small crew in a doc / verité style, with a strong ability to put people at ease on camera and capture natural, unobtrusive moments. We will also be hiring a B-cam operator. If you have a preferred operator you like to work with, we're open to that
  • otherwise we can provide one. If needed, the B-cam operator can bring their own camera package; in all cases, cameras must match in system and color profile. Local hire only; no hotel. Mileage reimbursed. Shoot days are 04/10 and 04/12 only. Rate includes labor & gear for both days; range listed is dependent on whether the DP provides a one
  • or two-camera package. Crew consists of DP, b-cam operator, sound mixer, and field producer. (+PA support Sunday only)
  • Basic Spanish proficiency a big plus but not required!
