Reporting to the Production Manager / GM, your role will focus on ensuring high-quality, low-defect prints while adhering to safety and quality standards. You will utilize core skills in production and digital printing to ensure accurate and efficient production. Strong communication and mechanical knowledge will be vital as you collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and maintain equipment efficacy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and calibrate printing machines with customer-supplied artwork in an efficient high production environment Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department manager Prioritize order completion based on the due date and execute printer tasks including reviewing work orders and machine setup Understand work orders and job aids to guarantee the precise fulfillment of job duties Inspect print quality and graphic placement to ensure high quality, accurate prints Manage computer files and project statuses as necessary in the order management software Maintain a clean work environment Execute orders in accordance with the production plan and technological documentation Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills Work in accordance with company standards and OSHA safety procedures and Standard Operating Protocols Perform daily machine maintenance Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment All other Duties as assigned.+
Qualifications and Skills:
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Commit to the work performed Multi-task and manage your time efficiently Understand technical printing Basic computer systems Must have demonstrated knowledge of product flow, technical and mechanical aptitude, and leadership skills Ability to use the tools of the maintenance trade; Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to apply common sense to understand written and oral communications Creative and conscientious Excel in manual skills Ready to work in shifts. Team player willing to help wherever necessary to complete our business objectives Be punctual, reliable, and adapt under pressure Must be able to lift 50lbs, stand, and walk for extended periods of time Detail Oriented and highly organized Collaborate with co-workers to achieve common goals Must be a self-starter History of attendance, reliability, and superior performance.
