Prepress Position

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Prepress Technician with strong AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop skills to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and optimizing digital files for production, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met before printing or manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and preflight files for print and production using AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop Review drawings, layouts, and artwork for accuracy, dimensions, and completeness Adjust and optimize files to meet print and production specifications Manage print production workflows, including file setup, color correction, and output preparation Collaborate with design, production, and project management teams Ensure all files meet quality standards and deadlines Troubleshoot file issues and recommend solutions Maintain organized records of all project files and revisions

Qualifications:

Proficiency in AutoCAD (required) Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for print production (required) Experience in prepress, print production, or a related field Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills:

Experience with large-format printing or signage production Knowledge of color management, file formats, resolution, and print processes Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite workflows

Pay:

From $55,000.00 per year
