Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: Complies with established safety policies and procedures and other regulations as applicable. Reads and updates production schedule to confirm plate availability and status. Interprets job information (i.e. spec sheet, graphic approval sheet, layout, color target). Locates and retrieves sleeves operating sleeve storage robot. Cleans sleeves. Visually inspects and measures the TIR of each sleeve. Quarantines out-of-spec sleeves. Measures stickyback thickness. Quarantines out-of-spec stickyback. Locates and retrieves plates from plate storage. Mounts plate on sleeves by operating plate mounter. Maintains quality check sheet and mounting log and records downtime when remounting. Stages mounted sleeves. Strips plates from sleeve by operating plate demounter and cleans plates manually or by operating the plate cleaner. Inspects plate and identifies plate mileage. Destroys plates in poor condition or with excessive mileage. Cleans and ensures the department is maintained in an orderly fashion. Performs other related duties as assigned. The ideal candidate shall possess the following: High School Diploma or GED required. Basic computer skills required. Experience with Microsoft suite products (i.e. Word, Excel) required. Basic math skills, required. Must pass the New Hire Base Assessment Test, which measures basic arithmetic and mechanical aptitude. Able to operate basic tools and measuring devices (i.e. tape measure). Ability to read, write and speak in the English language to the extent necessary to effectively communicate and interpret instructions. Operating experience in a manufacturing environment required. Mounting experience preferred. 12-hour shift work experience required. Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs. #DNP-LI
