Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Press Brake Operator and play a vital role in shaping high-quality metal components. In this energetic position, you will operate a press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that every piece meets strict quality standards while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in fabrication, and mechanical operations within a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machines to bend sheet metal according to detailed blueprints and technical specifications Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), to ensure accurate fabrication Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to inspect parts for accuracy and adherence to specifications Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including tooling changes, calibration, and troubleshooting mechanical issues Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to identify defects or deviations from standards Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects, utilizing forklift, crane, or other material handling equipment as needed for sheet metal movement Skills Proficiency in operating press brake machines with a strong understanding of setup procedures Experience with lathe machines is highly desirable Knowledge of blueprint reading, and mechanical drawings for accurate fabrication Ability to use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality inspection Familiarity with welding techniques and sheet metal fabrication processes Mechanical knowledge of manufacturing equipment such as stamping presses, and tooling management Ability to work safely with forklift, crane operations, and basic math skills necessary for machining tasks Strong attention to detail in quality control inspections and assembly processes This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to advance their skills in manufacturing technology while contributing to high-quality production. Pay:
$17.00 - $28.00 per hour
