1pm to 9pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Setup and Operator to set up, operate, and maintain press brake machines used in metal fabrication. The ideal candidate will be able to read blueprints, perform machine setups, inspect finished parts, and ensure products meet quality standards while following all safety procedures. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate manual press brake machines. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders. Select appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job. Program or adjust machine controls as required. Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools. Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections. Troubleshoot machine and production issues. Maintain production records and documentation. Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures. Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping tasks. Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel to meet production goals. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of press brake setup and operation experience preferred. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Strong mathematical and measuring skills. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes. Ability to use precision measuring instruments. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Duties Set up and operated press brake machines to produce precision sheet metal components. Read and interpreted engineering drawings and specifications. Performed tooling changes and machine adjustments to maintain product quality. Conducted dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Maintained production efficiency while meeting quality and safety standards.
Pay:
$21.00 per hour
