Job Description
Overview Packline Technologies, Inc. is a leader in specialized technology for the produce industry. We design, manufacture, and maintain advanced production lines for processing, sorting, and packing fresh fruits and vegetables. Our solutions, which range from custom-engineered equipment to automated palletizing systems, serve customers across the United States, ensuring the efficient handling of raw products from field to finished goods. Responsibilities
- Stand for extended periods as required
- Program CNC laser and Press Brake machinery
- Set up machines with the appropriate tooling
- Read and interpret blueprints, including material gauge and tolerances
- Load raw materials onto CNC laser and Press Brake
- Run and adjust programs to produce high-quality parts
- Verify parts are machined accurately according to prints
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues as they arise
- Use measuring devices such as tape measures, calipers, and angle finders
- Review and follow specific instructions outlined in job orders
- Conduct first and last article quality checks, ensure compliance with routing guidelines, and check for burrs
- Place parts neatly with job orders and deliver to the next work center
- Perform general maintenance on machines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety policies within the work center
- Achieve routing times and report significant discrepancies to the supervisor
- Perform additional duties and assignments as needed Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Laser Programmer/Operator
- Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- 2 years of technical training preferred
- 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
- Strong attendance record
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
- Professional communication, attitude, and appearance
- Ability to lift parts and/or equipment up to 50 pounds
