We are a small, privately-owned business that has been providing high quality sinks to the food processing and commercial industries since 1949. Years of manufacturing and engineering knowledge have made Columbia the standard in the food processing industry.
JOB SUMMARY
Experienced CNC Press Brake and Fiber Laser Operator. The ideal candidate would be familiar with both types of machines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and run Ermak Press Brake with Delem Controller Change out press brake punches and dies Bend 14ga, 16ga, and 18ga stainless steel Make adjustments to press brake settings to ensure quality of bends are per standards Perform routine maintenance Set up and run HSG Fiber Laser Load 4x8, 4x10, and 5x10 sheets onto laser cutter Cut per pre-loaded nest patterns Make adjustments to ensure good quality cuts while avoiding damage to laser head Remove and stack cut-out parts that will later be bent on press brake Perform routine maintenance
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years in a manufacturing environment 3+ years operating a CNC Press Brake 3+ years operating a fiber laser Proficiency driving forklifts
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted Prolonged periods of standing, pushing/pulling, lifting, and operating press High school diploma (or equivalent) Valid driver's license Background check & drug screening
