In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating Amada press brake machines to produce precise sheet metal components. Your expertise will ensure high-quality fabrication, efficient workflow, and adherence to safety standards. Duties Set up and operate Amada press brake machines, ensuring accurate bending and forming of sheet metal according to detailed blueprints and specifications Program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) systems for press brake operations, optimizing machine performance and production efficiency Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications, and technical manuals Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions and quality standards during production Perform routine maintenance, tooling changes, and adjustments on press brake equipment to maintain optimal operation Conduct quality inspections of finished parts using hand tools and measurement devices to ensure compliance with specifications Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to meet production deadlines while maintaining safety protocols and quality standards Maintain detailed documentation of production activities, inspection results, and machine maintenance logs Experience Minimum of five years of experience operating Amada press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment Proficient in blueprint reading with a solid understanding of GD&T principles for precise fabrication work Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, tooling setups, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations Must own your own precision hand tools (calipers, squares, etc.) Experience with quality inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, precision measuring instruments, and visual inspection techniques Knowledge of welding techniques and sheet metal fabrication processes is a plus Ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality output Join our team if you are passionate about precision manufacturing!
