SHEETMETAL DEBURR

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Sheetmetal Deburr technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for smoothing and finishing the edges of sheet metal components to ensure they meet quality standards and safety requirements. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our products, improve assembly efficiency, and uphold our commitment to precision craftsmanship. Duties Use hand tools, power tools, and deburring machines to remove sharp edges and burrs from sheet metal parts Read and interpret detailed blueprints and technical drawings to identify critical areas requiring deburring Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to prepare parts for finishing Perform quality control checks using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and surface finishes Collaborate with CNC programmers and CAM programmers to optimize deburring processes for efficiency and accuracy Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and calibrated Assist in assembly processes when needed, ensuring parts meet strict tolerances and specifications Skills Strong ability to read blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawings accurately Mechanical knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, press brake operations, and fabrication techniques Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction Warehouse experience including forklift operation is a plus for material handling tasks Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments Knowledge of quality control standards to ensure finished parts meet specifications Ability to work safely with mechanical equipment while maintaining high attention to detail Join us as a Sheetmetal Deburr technician where your craftsmanship ensures the excellence of our products! $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
