  • Thursday The Opportunity MVS Metals, a division of Owen Industries, is looking for a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team in Sioux City, IA.
If you take pride in precision work, know your way around a press brake, and want to be part of a company that's been building something real since 1885 — we want to talk. This is a 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM-3:30 PM), so you get your Fridays back without sacrificing full-time pay or benefits. What You'll Do
  • Operate press brake machinery to bend, form, and shape metal components to specification
  • Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to ensure accurate, quality parts every time
  • Set up, program, and adjust machines; verify equipment programs against work orders prior to production
  • Inspect finished parts and maintain high quality standards throughout the process
  • Train and guide new team members on machine setup and safe operation

  • Prior experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a metal fabrication role
  • Ability to read blueprints and work from written specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
  • Ability to troubleshoot and make adjustments on the fly
  • Commitment to safety — for yourself and your teammates
  • Physical capability to stand, lift (up to 50+ lbs), and operate machinery throughout the shift Compensation & Benefits

  • $22/hr based on experience
