Nova Metals is hiring an experienced Press Brake Setup Operator to set up and operate press brake equipment in our sheet metal fabrication shop. This role is for someone who knows how to read prints, select tooling, make adjustments, check their work, and produce accurate parts. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented operator who takes pride in doing the job right. What You'll Do You will set up and operate press brake equipment to bend and form metal parts according to prints, job travelers, and work instructions.

Responsibilities include:

Set up and operate press brake equipment Read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and work instructions Select proper tooling for each job Make machine adjustments to achieve accurate bends Measure and inspect parts using standard measuring tools Check angles, dimensions, and part quality throughout the run Work with production and quality teams to resolve setup or part issues Handle sheet metal parts safely and efficiently Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Support other production needs as assigned What We're Looking For Prior experience setting up and operating a press brake Ability to read blueprints and work from job instructions Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, squares, and angle gauges Strong attention to detail and quality Dependable attendance and work habits Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to safe work practices Preferred Experience in sheet metal fabrication Experience with multiple bend setups Experience working with steel, aluminum, or stainless steel Ability to troubleshoot bend angles, tooling, and part fit issues Experience with short-run or custom fabrication work Who This Role Is For This role is a good fit for someone who: Has real press brake experience Can set up jobs without constant supervision Takes pride in accurate parts Understands that quality matters Is reliable and shows up ready to work Wants stable full-time work in a manufacturing environment Likes working with their hands and producing tangible results This is not an entry-level training position.
