Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our metal fabrication manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machinery to bend and form metal components according to blueprints and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC and/or manual press brake machines Bend, form, and shape sheet metal and metal components to specification Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings Perform quality inspections using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools Adjust machine settings and tooling as needed to maintain accuracy Load and unload raw materials and finished parts Maintain production schedules and meet daily output goals Keep work area clean, organized, and safe Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures Report equipment or quality issues to supervisors Qualifications Previous press brake, machine operation, or metal fabrication experience preferred Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately Basic math and mechanical skills Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and in a team environment Preferred Qualifications CNC press brake experience press brake experience Experience working with sheet metal fabrication Forklift or overhead crane experience preferred but not required Manufacturing or warehouse background Work Environment Metal fabrication/manufacturing facility Exposure to machinery, metal materials, and moderate to loud noise levels PPE required, including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection Schedule & Benefits Full-time position 1st, 2nd & 3rd shift opportunities available Overtime available based on production needs Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for advancement and cross-training
