Purpose:
We are looking for a skilled Press Brake Operator to form, bend, punch, and notch a variety of standard work. The incumbent must also be responsible for ensuring products meet our quality standards regarding customer specifications.
Essential Functions:
Set up tooling and Program Press Brake per Customer CAD Data Operate the press brake Work from blueprints and drawings to meet customer specifications and tolerances Troubleshoot machines and adjust the functions and settings of machines Perform necessary quality inspections to ensure that parts meet guidelines. Perform preventive and regular maintenance on the press to extend its operational life. Conduct operations that promote safety. Comply with OSHA and MDSD Standards. Participate in 6S activities. High School Diploma or GED; technical degree preferred Experience in press brake programming, operations, and changeovers. Hands-on mechanical skills Experience using height gages and calipers Knowledge of blueprint reading Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team Analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts desired Compliance with all health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures Strong attention to detail Must have regular attendance as well as willingness and ability to work overtime Americans with Disabilities Specifications The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
