Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here Metal Stamping Press Operator Bluffton, IN | 4-Day Workweek | Union Shop | Starting at $18.48/hr + Shift Premiums Like staying busy, working with your hands, and having every Friday off? A growing precision metal stamping manufacturer in Bluffton is hiring multiple Press Operators for both day and night shifts. If you've worked in manufacturing, operated production equipment, or enjoy fast-paced, hands-on work, this is an opportunity to build a long-term career with a stable union employer. This isn't a job where you'll stand around watching a machine run. You'll be actively producing quality parts, inspecting your work, and contributing to a team that values reliability, safety, and a strong work ethic. Compensation & Benefits Starting pay of $18.48/hour Weekly attendance bonus of $0.25/hour Night shift premium: +$0.65/hour for the first 90 days +$1.00/hour after 90 days Four 10-hour shifts (Monday-Thursday) Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Union work environment Paid training and structured onboarding Opportunities to advance into skilled manufacturing and leadership positions What You'll Do Operate single-stroke and progressive die stamping presses Produce quality parts while meeting production goals Perform visual inspections throughout the manufacturing process Follow work instructions and production documentation Identify and report quality or equipment concerns Complete basic production and inspection paperwork Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe Work as part of a team focused on quality, safety, and productivity What We're Looking For Manufacturing or machine operation experience Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Strong attendance and reliability Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stay active throughout a 10-hour shift Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to follow work instructions and maintain quality standards Preferred Experience Metal stamping Punch press or progressive die operation Automotive manufacturing Fabrication CNC machine operation Quality inspection or SPC documentation Forklift experience Why Join Us?
