Press Brake/Shear Operator

Midwest Finishing Systems is a leader in the design, fabrication, and installation of complete turnkey systems for industrial finishing and powder coating applications. We are currently looking for an experienced Press Brake/Shear Operator. If you have the following qualifications, we are looking for employees like you: Must be able to plan and layout bending sequence, referring to drawings, blueprints or specifications Bend a variety of products or assemblies of small, light to average weight following standard procedures Request assistance on large or heavy sheet metal blanks Setup various types of metal in performing operations in forming. All parts must be bent to close tolerances. Requires aligning, fitting and adjusting parts to meet operating requirements of unit Regularly check product to specifications included in the work order packet. Specific quality checks are required by measuring cutouts, length, width, gauge, and material types Assist Engineering personnel in the modification, parts substitution, and repair May perform minor maintenance procedures Prior forklift experience a plus Blueprint reading experience preferred, but not required Capable of lifting at least 50lbs Excellent attendance is necessary Team player mentality We offer highly competitive wages and the ability to work OT.
