Your precision, attention to detail, and commitment to production schedules ensure parts are manufactured accurately and efficiently, directly impacting overall product quality and delivery performance. What You'll Do As a Laser & Brake Operator, you will: Operate CNC laser, CNC brake, drill press, and other hand and power tools Read and interpret machining prints and part drawings Route materials through the shop to support production flow Use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers to ensure accuracy Operate a forklift as needed to move materials Follow standardized work instructions to meet Lantech quality standards Collaborate with team members to complete work efficiently and on time What We're Looking For High School Diploma or equivalent (trade/vocational training is a plus) Experience operating CNC lasers, brakes, and drill presses in a sheet metal environment Ability to read and interpret prints and drawings Ability to read a tape measure and use dial/digital calipers Forklift experience Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to complete tasks within established timeframes Strong teamwork and communication skills Good attendance and reliability Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and production schedules Legally authorized to work in the U.S. Desired Experience Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Familiarity with shop workflow and material routing processes Why You'll Love Working at Lantech We believe great work happens when people feel supported, challenged, and valued.
