Break Press Operator - 2nd Shift

Staffing Inc. is partnered with a great company in Muskegon, MI, who are looking for Break Press Operator. We are seeking a skilled Press Operator that has operated a Manual CNC Brake Press. This candidate must be able to use a variety of measuring tools. This role is crucial for ensuring the production of high-quality components while adhering to safety and efficiency standards. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and hardworking candidate with a good eye for detail.

Brake Press Operator and Job Responsibilities:

Looking for candidates that have operated or are willing to learn to operate Manual CNC Brake Presses (Bystronic & Accupress) Must be knowledgeable or willing to learn how to use the following measurement equipment: 1. Dial/Digital Calipers 2. Protractor 3. Height Gage 4. Any other piece of equipment necessary to complete production Ability to read and understand blueprints Understanding of engineering symbols Some computer knowledge is a bonus Strong work ethic, good problem solving Forklift operation

Brake Press Operator Qualifications:

Previous Press Brake experience preferred (2 years) Experience using basic hand and power tools. Ability to read blueprints, schematics and work instructions. High school diploma or GED. Extensive standing, recurring bending, reaching as well as moderate to heavy lifting. Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Continuous mental and/or visual attention to operating machine(s). Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
