Job Description

Press Brake Operator 1st, 2nd, or Weekend Shift | Job Shop Environment Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Press Brake Operator to join our growing metal fabrication team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced job shop environment, and takes pride in producing high-quality, custom parts. With short production runs and varied work, no two days are the same. Key Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate Cincinnati and Strippit (LVD-controlled) CNC press brakes Interpret blueprints, routings, and method layouts to determine forming requirements Plan forming sequences and select, align, and install appropriate tooling Program machine controls including ram pressure, clearances, and backgauge positions Perform first-piece inspections and verify part dimensions using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers) Apply sheet metal calculations such as bend allowances and layout dimensions Document in-process inspections in compliance with ISO quality standards Adapt efficiently to short runs and frequent job changeovers Assist with additional fabrication tasks (e.g., turret punch operations or grinding) as needed Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Qualifications Minimum 1 year of press brake experience in a production or job shop setting At least 1 year of experience in metal fabrication Hands-on experience operating CNC press brakes (Cincinnati machines preferred) Ability to independently perform machine setup, tooling selection, and programming Strong blueprint reading and part inspection skills Proficiency with calipers and other measuring instruments Flexibility and willingness to cross-train across fabrication processes High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Preferred Qualifications Experience with Cincinnati (Cincy) and LVD controllers Experience in sheet metal fabrication Experience forming 0.10-0.18 gauge aluminum and stainless steel Familiarity with ISO Quality Management Systems Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in a job shop environment Why Join Us?

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
