POSITION SUMMARY

Qualities include but are not limited to: Accurate Reading, Writing, and basic math skills. Safe operation of all equipment including but not limited to forklift and overhead crane.

FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

Safely set up and operate a punch press and other punching, notching, or cutting equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job travelers. Ability to measure and verify dimensions using a tape measure. Ability to calculate decimals and fractions figures. Ability to stack completed parts properly on carts and tables. Have a proactive, positive attitude and a strong sense of self-motivation, accountability and responsibility. Good attendance. Must have the ability to work as a team. Organizational skills are a must. Ability to ensure proper use of PPE. Must be able to lift to 50 pounds. Reliable transportation is a must. Must be able to bend, twist, push and pull. Must pass a background check and drug test. Other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION

: High school diploma or GED. Ability to read, write, and communicate well. Prior factory experience in operating punch presses, saws, or other punching/notching equipment is a plus.
