In this role, you will be responsible for operating press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure that all parts meet quality standards and specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality fabrication projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Duties Set up and operate press brake machines, ensuring accurate bending of sheet metal according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings Program CNC-controlled press brakes for complex bending tasks, optimizing machine performance and productivity Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure precise fabrication Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and quality of finished parts Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues promptly Utilize hand tools, tooling, and fabrication equipment including CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, welding tools, cranes, forklifts, and electrical discharge machining (EDM) devices Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure adherence to safety standards and client specifications Collaborate with team members on assembly processes and support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing workflows Qualifications Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication setting Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation of CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and EDM equipment Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret GD&T specifications for precise fabrication Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of tooling setup, calibration, and maintenance of machinery Familiarity with quality inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to machining processes Experience with welding techniques and sheet metal fabrication processes preferred Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, hand tools, and other manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality assurance in all tasks Join our team as a Press Brake Operator where your skills will drive the creation of top-tier metal components.
