$23.00 - $25.00+ Job Overview A manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join their team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating press brake equipment to bend and shape sheet metal according to specifications while maintaining quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Set up press brake machines with the correct punches and dies Accurately position and align sheet metal before bending Program and operate CNC press brake controls Monitor machine operation during the bending process Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards Use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers Troubleshoot machine or production issues Perform routine machine cleaning and maintenance Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 2-year technical degree or 5+ years of related experience preferred Experience operating press brake equipment Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and quality Basic math and measurement skills Familiarity with CNC controls and programming Skills Mechanical aptitude Precision measurement Blueprint reading Problem-solving and troubleshooting Ability to work independently Work Environment Manufacturing facility Standing for extended periods Exposure to machine noise Ability to lift and move materials as needed

Pay:

$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
