Now Hiring Press Brake Setup/Operators in Cincinnati, OH!
Shift:
1st, 7:00am-3:30pm,
Monday-Friday Rate:
$30.00-$40.00 (Based on experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Setup/Operators to join our industrial team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw sheet metal materials into precise, high-quality components and assemblies. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with press brake machinery.
Essential Functions:
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements. Operate press brake machinery, working with sheet metal. Use hand tools/metric tools and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure dimensional accuracy. Fabricate sheet metal components by cutting, bending, forming, welding, and assembling parts with attention to detail. Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication process using appropriate measurement tools to verify conformance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing environments involving press brake machinery. Strong mechanical aptitude. Experience with metric and ability to cut sizes, shear, hand layout, and bending sheet metal. Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with metric tools and quality inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently within a manufacturing setting. Knowledge of tooling setup, machining processes, and material properties of sheet metal. •
