Job Description

Press Operator -
Metal Stamping Shift:
1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM +
OT Pay:
$20 to $24 per hour (based on experience) [] Responsibilities Set up and operate coil-fed stamping presses with progressive dies Load steel coil and adjust feeders, straighteners, reels, and related equipment Run automatic presses using Wintriss or similar control systems Monitor press operation and make adjustments to maintain production rates Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, fixtures, and visual standards Troubleshoot issues during production and correct as needed Perform tooling changeovers and assist with press setup and teardown Follow control plans, safety procedures, and quality requirements Maintain a clean, organized, and team-focused work area Qualifications Prior stamping or press operator experience strongly preferred Experience with progressive dies and coil-fed presses is a plus Mechanical aptitude and transferable manufacturing skills considered Ability to read basic prints and inspect parts to specification Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment #INDLuke
