Job Description
Brake press operator role focused on CNC and manual brake press setup, blueprint interpretation, part fabrication, inspection, and material handling. Requirements High School Diploma or GED Experience setting up and operating CNC or manual brake press equipment Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Ability to read and follow work orders Shop math skills Experience using precision measuring tools Experience using calipers and gauges Ability to inspect parts for quality and accuracy Ability to safely operate cranes, hoists, or lifting equipment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods Preferred Skills Brake press operating experience Manufacturing experience CNC brake press experience Manual brake press experience Material handling equipment experience Responsibilities Set up CNC brake press equipment Set up manual brake press equipment Operate CNC or manual brake press equipment Fabricate parts according to blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders Use shop math to support part fabrication Inspect parts using calipers and gauges Verify part quality and dimensional accuracy Move finished parts using cranes, hoists, or lifting equipment Follow safe equipment operation practices during fabrication and material handling
