Press Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Press Operators to join our dynamic manufacturing team. We are looking for both 1st and 2nd shifts . 1st shift: Monday - Thursday 5:30 am-4 pm with occasional Fridays as over time. 2nd shift: Monday - Thursday 4 pm-2:30 am with occasional Fridays as over time . The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of presses and machinery, ensuring high-quality production standards while adhering to safety protocols. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities As a Press Operator , you will operate and monitor presses, stamping presses, and CNC machinery to produce high-quality products. Set up and adjust press machine according to specifications. Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product specifications are met. Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings for accurate production processes. Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including press brake machines and CNC lathes, to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient materials handling and fabrication processes. Utilize hand tools and basic math skills for assembly tasks and tooling adjustments. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations within the manufacturing facility. Requirements Proven Press Operator experience in a manufacturing environment with factory experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in machining, welding, and fabrication processes. Experience with CAM programming, CNC milling machines, and assembly techniques is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively in a team setting while also demonstrating independent problem-solving skills. Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is a plus. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding materials handling procedures. Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software is advantageous for design interpretation.
