Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shear and Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal with precision and efficiency. You will work closely with fabrication, assembly, and quality inspection teams to produce high-quality components that meet strict specifications. Your mechanical aptitude, technical skills, and commitment to safety will drive your success in this fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in advanced manufacturing processes while contributing to the creation of top-tier Aluminum Horse Trailers. Responsibilities Operate Shear machines to cut aluminum sheets according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings. Operate press brake machines to bend sheet metal according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings Set up, calibrate, and adjust CNC-controlled machinery for optimal performance Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure precise fabrication Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality inspection of finished parts Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling tools such as cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment Collaborate with team members on tooling setup, machine maintenance, and troubleshooting machine issues Assist in fabrication processes including welding, plasma cutting, CNC laser cutting, electrical discharge machining (EDM), CNC milling, CNC lathe operations, stamping presses, and sheet metal assembly as needed Experience Proven experience operating shear & press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication setting is
REQUIRED
Familiarity with CNC programming and operation of CNC laser cutters, plasma cutters, CNC mills, lathes, or EDM equipment is highly desirable Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately Experience with quality inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments Knowledge of safety procedures related to machining equipment including cranes, forklifts, and hand tools Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations involved in fabrication processes Prior experience working with sheet metal fabrication or assembly is

Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
