Press Brake Operator

Metal Panels Inc is looking for a Press Brake Operator to join our Trim team. A successful Operator is both efficient and precise, fabricating from sheet metal to meet our customers' specifications and expectations. Metal Panels Inc. is a quality manufacturer of metal roofing and siding products, meeting the needs of the Metal Roofing, Metal Building, Post Frame and Storage Industries since 2001. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce parts (trim) to meet customer specifications, which includes setting up the machine, reading and interpreting work orders.
• Ensure correct materials are used on each job by verifying materials prior to beginning production.
• Ensure parts are fabricated correctly by performing quality checks.
• Ensure efficient and timely processing of various jobs orders by organizing work to be performed according to complexity, materials used, anticipated completion time.
• Safe and efficient machine operation by performing daily, maintenance and minor repairs on machines, observing safety standards.
• Other responsibilities as required.

Skills/Requirements:

• 2 years' experience operating a press brake or any other CNC equipment.
• Ability to look at drawings and blueprints, and program accordingly.
• Strong math skills.
• Willingness to learn other machinery.
• Great communication skills.
• Ability to be self sufficient and work well with a team.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• Monday
• Friday 6 AM
• 4:30 PM
• Additional overtime will be required as needed.

Education High school or equivalent degree

Compensation:

DOE base rate, 17-20 hr. Quarterly profit-sharing bonus
