Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will operate and set up press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that all fabricated parts meet strict quality standards and specifications, contributing to the overall success of our production processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery, develop your technical skills, and be a key player in our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machines to produce accurate bends on sheet metal according to detailed blueprints and specifications Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to ensure precise fabrication Program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) press brakes for complex bending tasks, optimizing machine performance and accuracy Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on press brake equipment to maintain optimal operation Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions and quality of finished parts Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process, ensuring all parts meet company standards and customer requirements Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects involving CNC laser cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, welding, and other machining processes Qualifications Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication Knowledge of CNC programming, setup procedures, and machine troubleshooting techniques Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and mechanical drawings for accurate part production Ability to use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments effectively Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during fabrication processes Experience with other manufacturing equipment such as CNC laser cutters, plasma cutters, electrical discharge machining (EDM), stamping presses, CNC milling machines, or CNC lathes is a plus Mechanical knowledge combined with welding experience is highly desirable for versatile fabrication tasks Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely when handling sheet metal or heavy materials Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality inspection and adherence to safety protocols Join our team as a Press Brake Operator if you're passionate about precision manufacturing!
