Job Description
Press Brake Operator Allentown, PA $24 to $26 per hour Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm An industry leader in the manufacturing and distribution of fabricated material handling equipment is looking for a motivated employee to work in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. Duties of a Press Brake Operator Set up, program, and operate CNC press brake machinery to bend and form metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work order Select and install appropriate tooling for each job, ensuring accuracy. Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, protractors, tape measures, and squares to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality. Troubleshoot basic mechanical or programming issues. Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety standards at all times. Document production data and maintain accurate records. Requirements for a Press Brake Operator 1-3 years of direct experience operating CNC press brake or shear machines Proficient in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and shop drawings. Strong understanding of tooling, bend allowances, and metal characteristics. Ability to perform accurate measurements and basic mathematical calculations. Commitment to producing high-quality work. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Able to work overtime when necessary.
