In this role, you will operate the advanced TRUMPF TruBend 1320 press brake machine to precisely bend and shape sheet metal components according to technical drawings and specifications. Your expertise in mechanical blueprint interpretation, tooling setup, and quality measurement will ensure the production of high-quality, accurate parts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment in a dynamic manufacturing environment committed to safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship. Responsibilities Set up and operate the TRUMPF TruBend 1320 press brake machine, ensuring proper tooling and calibration for each job. Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to accurately produce parts. Perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to verify part dimensions and quality standards. Adjust machine parameters and tooling setups to optimize bending accuracy and repeatability. Conduct routine inspections of finished parts for conformity with specifications, applying quality control procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards in production and operating machinery responsibly. Collaborate with team members on fabrication processes involving sheet metal, tooling, and assembly tasks as needed. Experience Proven experience operating press brake machines, particularly TRUMPF or similar CNC-controlled equipment. Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, tooling setup, and precision measurement instruments. Familiarity with CNC laser cutting, CNC programming, plasma cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe operations, welding, and electrical discharge machining is a plus. Ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Basic math skills for measurement calculations and process adjustments. Understanding of safety standards in manufacturing environments including crane operation and hand tool usage. Prior experience working with quality inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments is highly desirable.
Pay:
$24.71 - $29.75 per hour
